This one was definitely the latter.
Born in a moment in The Upside Down, “Mason” came from a real-life exchange during a late shift while stocking toilet paper with the crew. One of my guys tried antagonizing another by telling me the other guy wasn't pulling his weight. Before I could respond, Mason calmly delivered a line that instantly shifted the entire energy: “Your body is your temple, bro, worry about yourself.”
And just like that... the thunder struck.
